Health Care - Spring
2004
Among the economic issues worrying state residents the most, the
costs of health care rate at the top. In the Quality of Life fall 2003
survey, just one third of respondents reported that they were satisfied
with the costs of health care. More affordable health care would improve
their quality of life a great deal, according to 63% of those
respondents. In this survey, respondents are repeating that theme.
Better access to quality health care would enhance the quality of life
for more than half of these respondents. Better access to affordable
health care would contribute a great deal to the quality of life for 59%
of workers, making health care the number one issue affecting workers in
Wisconsin.
