Summary

Wisconsin confronts serious economic challenges. Most important among them are the availability of good jobs and holding down health care and health care coverage costs. Nevertheless, state residents maintain a positive outlook. They believe that life in their communities is good, they feel safe, and they are satisfied with their access to high-quality local services. The quality of life that these services support prompts state residents to view cuts in services with a wary eye.
